Working with Betrayal (with CE)

Betrayal shatters more than trust—it disrupts safety, identity, and the emotional bond holding the relationship together. When therapy moves too quickly toward reconciliation or insight, couples often stabilize without truly repairing the injury.

This training offers a structured, safety-based approach to betrayal recovery that distinguishes levels of readiness, guides therapists through a formal disclosure process, and centers the emotional impact of betrayal rather than defensiveness or blame. You’ll learn how to facilitate disclosure, impact, and remorse in ways that reduce harm and support genuine accountability.

Through clinical teaching and lived experience, this course focuses on how trust is rebuilt over time—not through monitoring or reassurance, but by building a new relational history that can tolerate fear, anger, and vulnerability without falling apart.

Real repair requires engaging the injury. This training shows you how to walk couples through it to experience true healing.
