Jesus Christ Is Our Model – Jesus is our primary example for life, love, relationships, leadership, excellence and sacrifice.

Jesus told him, “I am  the way,  the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6

Jesus is the truest example of healthy relationships in every area. Having all authority and power at his disposal, He set it aside to serve us and not Himself. His invitation for intimate relationship is always open. He maintains healthy boundaries and holds us accountable. He went first and personally bore the cost to restore our relationship with Him. In these and more, he is our model for relationships. We believe that only through Jesus Christ do we discover ultimate healing, wholeness, fullness, connection and purpose in life.

Giving Back  We commit to give 10% of everything we make back to God and to our community.

Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full–pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.” Luke 6:38

Tithing is important to us. Out of the abundance we have been given, we give back to aid, empower, and bless those with less than ourselves. So we commit to give 10% of everything we make back to our churches and community.

See The Whole Person – We don’t judge a book by its cover. We value what is inside as much as what’s outside.

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tested in every way as we are, yet without sin. Hebrews 4:15

We recognize people are more than our visible parts. Our thoughts, emotions, actions, desires, and motivations may not be always evident but they are always present. We strive to go beyond the surface and truly see the whole person. Whether engaging ourselves or another, we believe wholeness is critical for growth and maturation in relationships.

Grace in Truth  We all screw up, get scared, or insecure. There is always grace when we hear it from you first.

Since you put away lying, speak the truth, each one to his neighbor, because we are members of one another. Eph 4:25

Authenticity is key to healthy relationships. We don’t hide or shy away from mistakes, fears, or failure. We use truth for disclosure, honesty, vulnerability, and to build each other up. When we speak truth, we find freedom in ourselves and in our relationships. We can be trusted in all that we say and do as our ‘yes’ will be yes and our ‘no’ will be no.

Equal Excellence  Not only in our strengths or passion, we do our best in everything we do.

Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. Colossians 3:23-24

Excellence is doing your absolute best in everything whether it’s an area of your passion or drudge work that has to get done. We don’t complain or engage half-heartedly. Instead we give our best in everything we do.

Appreciation/Celebration– Taking time to stop and thank God and others for all they have done.

“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thess. 5:18

When Jesus healed the leprous men, only one came back to thank Him. We want to be the one who continually stops to thank God and celebrate all He has done and is doing. We want to do the same for those who put time and energy into serving this mission.

Continual Growth– Striving to be better in all we do so we can serve in a relevant and professional way.

We acknowledge that communication mediums change constantly– we commit to growing with those mediums and delivering trusted content in ways that can easy be consumed. We also commit to challenging ourselves to stay out of the ‘that’s how it has always been” mind-set by welcoming new ideas and challenges.

Team– We are not employees, we are team members.

We will take care of our team first before we take care of others. We will have each others back and stay away from gossip. We value each other and make sure there is no dissension among the team that goes unchecked.
